WELCOME TO THE FUTURE OF PROTECTING CHILDREN

Noah's Story & Our Mission

On July 21, 2014, while living in Gwinnett County, Georgia, 16-month-old Noah's life was tragically cut short after he suffered abuse at the hands of his caretaker.
Noah’s Fund for Mental Health Research & Education, Inc. is dedicated to honoring Noah’s life by advancing mental health awareness, promoting early intervention, and supporting efforts that prevent violence and protect vulnerable individuals. Through education, advocacy, and community engagement, the organization seeks to address the root causes of harm while reinforcing the importance of accountability, safety, and support for victims and families.
Why Our Work Matters
Key Statistic

1 in 8 children in the U.S. lives with a parent or caretaker who has a mental illness.
(Centers for Disease Control and Prevention — National Center for Health Statistics)

These children are at higher risk of neglect, emotional trauma, and entering the foster care system.

Supporting Fact About Social Services

Child protective and family service agencies, including DFCS, report being overwhelmed — with as many as 60% of families referred to child welfare services involving a parent or caretaker with a mental health or substance use disorder.
(U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, 2023)

Why This Matters

Social services are stretched thin. Agencies like DFCS do their best, but they cannot meet every child's emotional, educational, and preventive needs alone.
That's why organizations like Noah's Fund MHRE are critical — we fill the gaps through mental health education, community support, and prevention programs that protect children before crisis intervention is needed.

Noah's Fund MHRE aims to:
-
protect children like Noah
-
ensure those like Noah are not impacted by the effects of mental health illnesses

Noah's Fund MHRE is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that curates studies and programs to facilitate better quality of life for children.
